Volunteers Wanted!
If you’re reading this, your desire to help has brought you to the right page!
Whether you want to become a small animal foster, help provide administrative services, assist with fundraising, or become a board member, your participation is key to helping Small Angels achieve its goals. Volunteering is not only rewarding, but it can help you to gain job skills, and it always looks great on a resume!
As a volunteer, you will also bring energy and ideas to the organization. We are always looking for those who can do research and find opportunities to help us increase donations as well as connect with the community.
The minimum age for volunteering is 18, but there is no maximum age. Seniors and retirees are welcome and encouraged to donate their time and share life experiences.
Applying for a volunteer position is simple. Just review our current openings on VolunteerMatch.org or Idealist.org, or email us at [email protected], for more information.
Some of our volunteers’ experiences:
“As a volunteer with Small Angels, I have found my skills and experiences are appreciated and valued. I began my volunteer journey as a rat foster, and with guidance and education from my foster coordinator, I learned all about how to care for these intelligent and misunderstood little guys. I also accepted a board member position and feel that my time and dedication are making a real difference.” – Sue Pauls, VP and HR support.
