Fostering for Small Angels

Because we don’t have a physical shelter, we rely on foster parents to house animals temporarily while we find homes for them. Our work wouldn’t be possible without foster homes.

Foster care homes responsibilities

Foster care homes provide daily care for our animals. We provide some food and bedding and fosters add some elements to complete nutrition. Program coordinators facilitate training regarding socialization and medical care (if needed. Additionally, the rescue will ask fosters to provide descriptions and photos of the animals for our social media accounts and adoption websites. Transportation to adoptions and adoption events will be requested occasionally.

Small Angels provides

  • Full coverage of approved medical expenses
  • A cage and other supplies, if needed
  • Adoption counseling and placement
  • Free and discounted food and bedding
  • Free membership
